$1,500 Licensed Practical Nurse* Scholarship

*Student Enrolled in an Accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program

Criteria

Current Alabama resident
Currently enrolled full-time in an Alabama School of Nursing
Completed at least one semester of nursing courses as evidenced by official transcript from the last completed college semester
Nursing GPA of 2.8 or higher

Application Requirements

·Deadline to receive application and all emailed materials will be March 31, 2025

Application will include:
- Student Information Form (below)
- Letter from school indicating current enrollment status and anticipated date of completion sent to scholarships@alabamanursesfoundation.org
- Completion of essay questions (below)
- Official transcript sent by the institution's registrar sent to scholarships@alabamanursesfoundation.org
- Picture (high-resolution headshot)

Award Process

Recipients are selected by the Alabama Nurses Foundation Scholarship Committee, and their decision shall be final
Recipients will be notified on or around May 1, 2025
NOTE: Checks will be mailed to your home address made payable to the entity selected
Alabama Nurses Foundation will follow up with a request to include you in a video testimonial about the process. If selected, you will be required to participate.

Recipients will be selected by the Alabama Nurses Foundation Scholarship Committee. Their decision shall be final. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance, inspiration, goals, work, school and/or community involvement, and writing quality will be evaluated (grammar, clarity, etc.).
